Senior Director of Engineering

Do you enjoy…

  • … envisioning the future of a product and helping software engineers bring the product to life through clean, precise code?
  • … advocating for engineering best practices, technical excellence and process improvement to help minimize technical debt and improve productivity?
  • … mentoring and managing software engineers to help them grow their abilities and careers?

If you’re nodding your head and thinking, “That’s me!”, then WE NEED YOU to join our team as a Senior Director of Engineering.

At Lucky Orange, we know how daunting it can be for business owners, advertising and marketing agencies and website operators to figure out why people aren’t converting on their website. We create “A ha!” and “Oh wow!” moments for our customers by helping them understand how visitors are interacting with their website so they can create better online customer experiences that help close the sale or generate leads.

We’re looking for a Senior Director of Engineering to join our growing team. As Lucky Orange’s new Senior Director of Engineering, you’ll be a part of our leadership team helping to drive the vision for our product and company. You’ll lead our engineering team, helping to mentor team members to grow their abilities. You’ll find ways to motivate your team to accomplish important goals and will have a hands-on role in product development. This role requires an individual who enjoys keeping up to date on the latest technology and software development trends and finding ways to incorporate them into existing products.

What’s a day in the life like?

As the newest Senior Director of Engineering, your day will likely include:

  • considering the technical feasibility of proposed engineering projects and approaches by evaluating the proposal’s scalability, sustainability, architectural components and technical debt
  • working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to refine and scope project requirements
  • reinforcing high engineering quality standards by establishing best practices and performing code reviews
  • designing technical systems
  • leading quality assurance, network, data and security policies
